No ads, no sponsored placements, no affiliate links. The subscription is the whole business model, so nothing has to be held back to sell you later.
Export to CSV and JSON whenever you want, and leave with all of it. No lock-in, no export fee.
Sakukin Fam sends encrypted pieces through a relay. We run the relay. We cannot open what passes through it.
When something is ready, we say so. Until then it is marked in development, here and everywhere else.

One person's ledger, kept on one phone.
Record what you spend in a few taps. See where the month went. Set a budget and watch it fill. No sign-up, no sync, no analytics. It works on a plane and in a basement.

A household ledger the server cannot read.
Everyone in the house records their own spending. The household sees one picture, so the person doing the sums stops asking for receipts. Each member holds their own keys. The relay moves data it cannot open.
Some purchases are nobody else's business. Mark one private in a tap and the household total stays correct.

And households where one person ends up doing the sums for everyone. That person should not have to ask for a receipt every evening, and should not have to see what they would rather not.
Neither app connects to a bank. You type what you spend. That is the point: the record is yours because you made it.

A one-person software studio in Jakarta building two Android budgeting apps. It is not a company with employees, an office, or investors.
No. Both are in development. Sakukin Pocket has a browser demo you can try, which shows the entry flow and the month view. Join the waitlist and you will get one email when an app opens.
We have not set a price. It will be a subscription, because that is the only model that does not require selling your attention. There will be no ads.
No. You enter what you spend. A bank connection would mean handing a third party your credentials or your transaction history, which is the thing these apps are built to avoid.
On your phone. In Sakukin Fam, encrypted updates pass through a relay we run, and we cannot read them. There is no copy of your ledger on our servers.
No. The waitlist exists to tell you when an app opens. Ask us to delete your address and we will, the same day.
Android first. iOS is not planned yet. If that changes, the waitlist will hear it first.

I am building Sakukin because I wanted a ledger that opens fast, shows the month, and hands me the file at the end. No ads, no account, no reason to keep my records hostage. That is the product.
07 / Early access
Tell us which app you want. We will write once, when it opens. No newsletter, no other mail.
What happens to your address: it goes into a Cloudflare database we control, next to the product you picked. We use it to send one message when that app opens, then we delete the list within 30 days. We do not sell it, share it, or add you to anything else. Write to hello@sakukin.dev and we delete your row the same day.
